OPENING CONCERT AT KONSERTHUSET | EVENT PHOTOGRAPHER STOCKHOLM

Greetings! Last week I had the privilege of photographing the Opening Concert for the Irish Presidency of the Council of the European Union at Konserthuset in Stockholm. Now, that’s a mouthful! ;)

What a brilliant night it was! A harpist played during the welcome drinks, followed by music by Muireann Nic Amhlaoibh and Dónal O'Connor, plus a poetry reading by Ireland's Professor of Poetry, Vona Groarke.

I met and chatted with so many nice people; I was almost hoarse by the time I got home! It was such a well-organised and entertaining night, and I have no doubt all the guests had a fabulous evening :)

WHISKEY-TASTING EVENT | STOCKHOLM EVENT PHOTOGRAPHER

Greetings! A couple of weeks ago, I had the honour of photographing a whiskey-tasting event for Bord Bia, the Irish Food Board, at the Irish Ambassador’s Residence in Stockholm, Sweden.

There was live music, whiskey and gin tasting, educational talks, and lots of getting-to-know-you conversations between the Irish and Swedish guests! I love working in this fly-on-the-wall kind of way, as I get to do one of my most favourite things: observing people :)

LAWYERS' CRAYFISH PARTY | STOCKHOLM EVENT PHOTOGRAPHER

Greetings! In August, I had the pleasure of photographing a lawyers’ crayfish party in Stockholm. The party was held at the beautiful Ulriksdals Vardhus on a perfect, balmy Swedish summer evening, overlooking the water. There was a jazz band, bubbly, and lots and lots of crayfish! :)

Stockholm family photo session | Familjefotograf Stockholm

Whoa! I can’t believe it’s almost the end of January 2020 and I’m only getting around to blogging this fun family session now! I loved this family the second I met them at Stadshuset in Stockholm. Despite the freezing temperatures, they greeted me with big smiles and continued smiling right through our photo session. Talk about positive energy - my kind of people ;).

On a different note, I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and are feeling pumped for this new decade. I hit the ground running in the new year with some creative portrait sessions that left me feeling very inspired. Maybe I’ll share them here sometime. Be sure to watch this space :).
