Fun Family Session in the Park

Greetings! Whoa, I didn’t realise how long it had been since I last blogged. It’s been a while, right?! It has been summer though, so I’m afraid blogging slipped way down the priority list. That’s OK though. We’re all just doing our best here on planet Earth, right? ;)

I photographed this happy-go-lucky family before the summer holidays and we had so much fun together. We walked around the park, chatted, and created images they will cherish forever (a huge framed family portrait will be going up on their wall). I walked away with a pep in my step, feeling very lucky I get to meet such great people and do creative work!

If you would love non-stiff portraits, drop me a line at sandra@sandrajolly.com and we can chat.

Gamla Stan Family Photo Session

I’m back! I know I’ve been M.I.A for while, but I have been out of the country recently, plus I’ve been working quietly behind the scenes here at SJP. I gotta say, it is very nice to go off the radar and unplug for a time. I can highly recommend it to every soul :) Now that I’m back though, I wanted to share this fun Gamla Stan family photo session with you! Gamla Stan makes a beautiful backdrop for portraits. This charming family was leaving Sweden for good, so they (quite rightly) wanted some images of them in the Old Town. It’s hard saying goodbye to such lovely clients (I felt like I’d always known them), but for every family that leaves, I know another great family will choose me to photograph them.

If you’ve been meaning to book a portrait session, either for yourself or with your family, you can go to the Contact tab above or mail sandra@sandrajolly.com. Don’t be shy ;)

Stadshuset Family Portrait Session

Was it freeze-your-ass-off-baltic-temperatures on this day? Oh, yes! Did we all have to move quickly before hypothermia set in? Heck, yeah! Did we laugh a LOT, play games, and create gorgeous, priceless images during this Stadshuset family portrait session? You can be absolutely certain we did!! :)

When you’ve got family visiting from abroad and you value family images, it is such a good idea to book a family portrait session! Who knows when you will all be together again? It’s an honour when a family commissions me to create their portraits. And when they do that time and time again and entrust me with their family, well, it really humbles me.

If you would like to know more about Jolly portrait sessions, you are welcome to mail me at sandra@sandrajolly.com or go to the Contact page above. And if you don’t hear back from me within 24 hours, be sure to check your Junk/Spam folder :)

Fun Outdoor Family Session In The Snow

It was early January and it was getting dark. Fast. It had snowed and it was pretty cold. We knew we didn’t have a lot of time for this fun outdoor family session in the snow, but by golly, we made it work! Look at these happy images! Don’t they just warm your heart :)

It’s amazing what can be achieved in a short amount of time, but the result will be cherished for decades! This family even had the grandparents visiting from Canada, so it was a priority to get a portrait of them. I always say if grandparents are visiting, take the opportunity to create a photograph of them. You don’t know when you might get another chance.

This gorgeous mom sent me home with some absolutely delicious homemade chocolate chip cookies, so as you can imagine, I was a happy camper en route home after experiencing some much Canadian warm and kindness :)

To book your Jolly session, please mail sandra@sandrajolly.com, and I will happily send you my beautiful portrait session guide.

Peace and love xoxo
