Stockholm Family Photo Session

Greetings! Usually, I photograph families who live in Stockholm. Sometimes I photograph families who are visiting Stockholm on holiday, but every now and again, I photograph a family who are leaving Stockholm! That’s what this family is doing. Their time in beautiful Stockholm is coming to an end and they wanted to mark the occasion by having a fun family photo session in their beautiful neighbourhood, Gamla Stan, or the Old Town, as some call it.

Vacation in Stockholm Big Family Session

Greetings! It is a huge honour when another family photographer asks you to photograph her big extended family! During the summer, a photographer all the way from Portland, Oregon, booked me to photograph her multi-generational family during their vacation in Stockholm.

We met at their Airbnb south of Stockholm and, as the great-grandparents weren’t so mobile, we did the entire session in the back garden. This was my favourite kind of family - high energy, positive, and up for lots of fun! They trusted me to direct them through the whole process and to my delight, the 90-year-old great-father told me at the end of the shoot that it had been a “wonderful experience.” Happy days for all involved!

I have done many of these ‘vacation in Stockholm’ photo sessions. They can be done at your Airbnb or various locations in Stockholm. What a great way to remember a once-in-a-lifetime trip, right?

Sollentuna Family Photo Session

Greetings! This was a quick and fun family photo session on a beautiful spring morning. You must work fast with a baby and a toddler so the little ones don’t get tired or bored! And even though the parents were a little nervous in the beginning, I guided them and posed them, and within no time everyone was having fun! :)

Even though this season of life, with a baby and a toddler, can be very intense, isn’t it worth investing in professional images of your family unit? This time is so fleeting, don’t delay capturing it.

Winter Wonderland Family Session

Greetings! As we’re still in the depths of winter here in Sweden, I thought you would appreciate seeing this winter wonderland family session from a couple of weeks ago! It was just before sunset and very cold, so I worked as fast as possible and did my best to keep the energy high. Snow sessions are shorter than my regular outdoor sessions (you don’t want little fingers and toes getting cold!), and I advise everyone to wear several layers, thick socks, warm boots, etc. and maybe have hot drinks to hand to keep everyone toasty.
