As soon as this family stepped out of the car to meet me, I knew we were going to have a great session! These beautiful sisters had such calm energy and were an absolute delight to photograph. Fun Outdoor Family Session in Stockholm

Greetings! When the dad of this family got in touch to book a session, he said he really wanted Stockholm as a backdrop to the portraits. That’s how we ended up having a fun outdoor family session on a hill in a quaint part of Stockholm with the City Hall in the background on a fresh October morning! The family had a (quiet as a mouse) two-month-old baby, so we worked fast, had a lot of fun, and got some joyful and natural family images :)

Autumnal Icelandic Family Portrait Session

Greetings! I’m playing catch-up with my blog after a very busy few months! It’s all good though, as I’ve been meeting and photographing some lovely families. One of which was this charming family from Iceland. We had an autumnal family portrait session at one of my favourite outdoor locations, which just happens to be in my ‘hood. There were very strong winds the day of our session, a biting cold wind, at that! I didn’t fight the wind though. I worked with it. Sometimes you just have to let Mother Nature do her thing and pace your shots, so that there isn’t hair constantly whipping across your subject’s face ;)

Family autumn session in the woods

Greetings! I can’t believe we are almost at the end of October already! How the heck did that happen?! It’s been another busy month at Jolly HQ with family portrait sessions, plus event photography jobs. I’ve had the pleasure of photographing repeat clients (always a huge honour) as well as lovely new clients. Today I’d love to share this family autumn session in the woods south of Stockholm. It was my second time photographing this fun, positive family, and I even got to see their Jolly portraits from our last session proudly displayed in their home :)
