I could feel it as soon as I entered their sun-filled home in a charming and idyllic neighbourhood in Åkersberga. A positive, happy energy permeated the air. This super-sweet American family had told me they love the great outdoors, so we gathered up all the necessary children's provisions and headed to the local woods. The big brother brought his sword and wowed up with his impressive ninja moves. We explored, examined a dead beetle, played in a tiny hut, oh and took some pictures. I'm also happy to report that even though I'm usually the target of every mosquito within a 20 mile radius, I somehow survived this shoot unschathed! Now, how angelic do these little siblings look? :)
Evening walks with an ulterior motive
Am I the kind of mother who lets her children stay up past their bed-time, so we can go for a walk in the woods, because the light is really pretty? Guilty.
A much loved two year old | Sollentuna child photographer
This adorable little girl turned two the day before our photo shoot. Her parents had the good sense to have some pictures taken of them just enjoying their delightful daughter. This time is fleeting. Childhood moves at an impossible speed. So do two year olds! Luckily, we were able to keep this cherub entertained long enough to get lots of photos bursting with love and happiness.
Love and laughter at Rosersbergs Slott | Stockholm family photographer
I. LOVED. THIS. SHOOT. I've been dying to share it since June, but the family went on holiday, so we only had the viewing last week. It was one of those easy-going, happy shoots with perfect light, a great location and two very cool guys (three if you count the dad!). We walked all around the beautiful grounds of Rosersbergs Slott and I literally didn't want to stop shooting. Eventually my faithful assistant and husband, Chris, had to tell me to put the camera down and walk away. Feel free to leave them some love ;)
