Love and laughter at Rosersbergs Slott | Stockholm family photographer

I. LOVED. THIS. SHOOT.  I've been dying to share it since June, but the family went on holiday, so we only had the viewing last week.  It was one of those easy-going, happy shoots with perfect light, a great location and two very cool guys (three if you count the dad!).  We walked all around the beautiful grounds of Rosersbergs Slott and I literally didn't want to stop shooting.  Eventually my faithful assistant and husband, Chris, had to tell me to put the camera down and walk away.  Feel free to leave them some love ;)

Huge smiles in Djursholm | Djursholm child photographer

This fun-lovin' English family were super-smiley (see photographic evidence below)!  I didn't even have to use any of my bad jokes to elicit laughter!  I was merely a camera-wielding witness to a very happy-go-lucky family and their gorgeous Labrador puppy.  For some reason I can't recall, the girls nicknamed me Nutella very early on in the shoot and that's what I remained for the rest of the shoot, Nutella :).  I love when families don't need much direction and just have a jolly good time on our shoot!

To smile or not to smile

No, children in front of my camera do not have to smile all the time!  Just like adults, children have lots of different moods.  If they smile, great, if they don't that's OK, too.  Do I print non-smiling pictures of my own children?  Absolutely!  And they are often my favourite. To me, those pictures have more mystery and depth than a happy picture :)
